The Lancashire County Pool Association AGM held in Preston in January 2014 provides a useful snapshot of how county pool, Interleague affiliation and player registration were organised in Lancashire during the World Rules era.
2014 AGM and league affiliation
The meeting was scheduled for 12 January 2014 at Stephen Hendry’s Club in Preston and was open to member leagues. The original notice also invited leagues to complete their annual LCPA membership and Interleague registration.
The published 2014 charges were:
- League membership: £50 per league
- Interleague team fee: £15 per team
- Rolling Interleague deposit: £30, refundable after completion of fixtures
- EPA adult player registration: £12
- EPA junior player registration: £8

What LCPA organised in 2014
- Lancashire Intercounty teams across Open, Ladies, Juniors and Seniors competition.
- Regional competition within EPA Region 2, alongside Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and West Yorkshire.
- Lancashire Interleague competition for teams representing affiliated local leagues.
- A pathway from league and county pool into national events, Champion of Champions competition and England trials.
- Access for registered players to national and regional singles events, including World Championship and World Masters qualifying routes.
Historical rules context
