Lancashire County Pool Association (LCPA) provides the organised county structure for eight-ball pool across Lancashire, connecting players, local leagues and representative teams with county, regional and national competition pathways.
Lancashire is part of Region 2 of the English Pool Association (EPA), alongside Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and West Yorkshire.
Lancashire Intercounty pool
LCPA organises Lancashire representative teams across the Open, Ladies, Seniors and youth sections. County teams compete within Region 2, with opportunities to progress to national finals and, where the relevant competition rules provide for it, into wider representative pathways.

Lancashire Interleague
LCPA also runs Interleague competition for teams representing affiliated local leagues across Lancashire. Interleague provides a county competition pathway for league teams and connects successful sides with wider national competition where applicable.

Membership, affiliation and player pathways
Individual membership and league affiliation help LCPA administer organised competition and connect players and leagues with the appropriate Lancashire and EPA pathways. Requirements, fees and eligibility can change between seasons, so the Membership and Registration pages should be used for the current process.
Rules and governance
Lancashire competition uses the rules and competition requirements applicable to each event. Current playing guidance, International 8-Ball Rules and historical rules material are available in the Pool Rules & Guidance section.
LCPA is supported by its committee, team officials, captains, volunteers and the wider Lancashire pool community. Association and governance updates can be found in the Committee archive, while long-service recognition is preserved in the Roll of Honour.
