The second tour of the 2014 season is nearly upon us and with it being the Festival of Pool held over the Bank Holiday weekend it has lots of top quality pool to offer. A variety of events are on show with the tour, challenge, premier league, 3 man team and World Championship qualifiers all taking place in an action packed weekend.
The high standard on this years tour means that there are no easy draws but some stand out first round matches can be found in Shane Balding vs Rob Chilton, Ben Clayton vs Frank Costello and Ian Ali vs Jack Pople to name but a few!
Rob Chilton will no doubt be looking to avenge his early exit in the first tour of the season but he will be in for a battle against arguably the player of the last tour Shane Balding who took out a host of top scalps on his way to the semis before losing out to the eventual tour 1 winner Craig Waddingham, After his success in the first event Craig will no doubt be looking to capitalise on his current form and reputation and have a another good run in this second tour.
This weekend has plenty to offer for players and spectators alike and is being held in arguably the finest setting for any pool event, the Hilton Metropole, Birmingham. The latest draws can be found below.
