Wigan Pool League is a long-established part of the local pool scene, bringing together teams from pubs and clubs across Wigan and the surrounding area. LancashirePool has carried information about the league for many years, and this page has now been updated to separate current information from the older league tables that were previously embedded here.
Wigan Pool League today
The league continues to publish its own league-table information online, and English Pool Association competition records continue to list Wigan Pool League as a Lancashire league. In 2026, EPA entry data recorded Q8 as a Wigan Pool League winner.

Historical LancashirePool record
Our earlier listing described a league of more than 30 local pubs and clubs spread across three divisions. Those figures relate to the league structure at the time and are retained as historical context rather than presented as the current number of teams or divisions.
From local league to Lancashire competition
Local leagues are an important route into county and Interleague pool. Players and teams looking for Lancashire competition information can explore the Lancashire Interleague hub, including Open Interleague and Ladies Interleague.
