The England Ladies had 2 teams that attended the Nations Cup: Team A - Barbara Taylor, Sophie Gibbs-Nicholls, Sharon Lunn, Sharon James, Tanisha Beckford Team B - Kate Wringe, Lisa Wray, Cat Jones, Nikki Comrie, Leanne Cragg The B team had only 1 player who had played in a Nations Cup before, so for the rest this was a new experience. They had a slow start losing 2 of their games 7-8 and then beating Scotland and Northern Ireland. The team spirit was superb. The A team didn’t lose a game beating Northern Ireland 8-5 in the final.
