Historical competition record: the Lancashire Open Interleague KO Cup was scheduled for 7 June 2015 with 16 teams drawn into four groups of four.
The competition was described as the Men’s Interleague KO Cup at the time. LancashirePool now uses Open Interleague terminology while preserving the original teams and format.

Competition format
The top two teams from each group progressed to the quarter-finals. Group matches were first to 10 frames; if a match reached 9-9, a one-frame playoff decided the winner.
- Round 1: 09:00
- Round 2: 11:00
- Round 3: 13:00
- Quarter-finals: 15:00
- Semi-finals: 16:30
- Final and third-place playoff: 18:00
The original notice also stressed that every team was scheduled to start at 09:00 and that the programme was operating to a tight timetable.
