Why the Wigan weekend matters
Robin Park has become a familiar Ultimate Pool destination. Its North West location gives Lancashire supporters the opportunity to watch leading players without a cross-country journey, while competitors from the region can experience a major event in front of a local audience.
The combined programme is part of the appeal. Spectators can follow the professional title and ranking battles while also seeing players attempting to build the next stage of their careers through NXTGEN.
Detailed session times, individual draws and Lancashire entries may be confirmed closer to the event. Supporters should check Ultimate Pool’s official channels before travelling.
WHY LOCALS SHOULD WATCH
Lancashire interest
Darwen cueist Justin Astley’s breakthrough 2026 Professional Series title has given Lancashire followers another compelling connection to the circuit.
His success underlines the playing strength found across Lancashire and the wider North West—and adds another reason to follow the confirmed Wigan fields and draws.
