Well the U23's arrived in sunny Aberdeen with two solid teams. The A consisted of Skipper Giuseppe D'Imperio, Josh Kane and Jack Smithers amd the B was Callum ingleton, Sam Leeming and Luke Austin. Both teams lost one game in the group stage to each other, which saw them paired in the final. The match was a great standard which saw the A Team come out on top and take the trophy. In the singles events, the U23's showed what a force they'll be in the Mens events in the future. Firstly, Guiseppe D'imperio won the U23 singles event by defeating team mate Jack Smithers in the Final, to make it a clean sweep of major titles this season with the National, European and World titles already in the bag. Lastly, what can be said of Josh Kane, one of the most improved players on the circuit in the last couple of years going on to Lift the Mens Singles Event, the 1st of many I'm sure.
