After his tour 2 win all eyes were on Phil Harrison to see if he could achieve what no other player has so far, successive tour wins, and the Cambridgeshire cue man did not disappoint as he notched up his second tour win of the season. He made light work of what would have appeared to most people a tough draw with the likes of Shane Balding, Darryl Fallows and current World Champion Tom Cousins amongst his victims.
The final was an attacking affair, as would be expected with two great cueists. Harrison took an almost unassailable 7-3 lead barely missing a pot along the way before Cousins bounced back with a couple of fine clearances, but it was to be Harrisons night and he finished in style with a pinpoint clearance to take the tour 3 title and the £2400 winners cheque.
