The first event of the mini series has taken place for the North West and it was Stockport’s Steve Martin that took home the £500 first prize, beating Glyn Crook 6-3 in the final. Steve had been in fine form all day and never looked liked missing a pot as he made light work of a very tough field containing well known players such as Lee Kendal, Phil Naylor, Del Redmond and several other players from the current interleague champions side Norman’s Elite.
