Lancashire continued to enjoy success this weekend with Preston and Districts Andy Croasdale winning the Mens Individual trophy at the “Champion of Champions” event in Great Yarmouth. In addition, Darwen’s Jamie Ridsdale played an excellent tournament, only to miss out on the chance of an all Lancashire final by losing to Keighley’s Arfan Dad.
Andy overcame Arfan in the final with a scoreline 7-4, following on from 2 nights of great pool including victory 2007 World Masters Ian Kettel. On the way to his Semi-Final, Jamie had wins over World Seniors Champion Stacey Vine and last years finalist Felixstowe’s Paul Keeble.
The tournament is open to League winners from EPA affiliated leagues, with the individual trophies being open to amateur knock-out winners only.
