2016 Tour 4 Preview
After a lengthy wait the 4th UK Pool Tour is now almost upon us. The tour takes place on the weekend of the 2nd – 4th September at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham and is sure to be another fantastic weekend of top quality action.
As with the previous two tours, the event will be live streamed on the Saturday with various tour and premier league matches on show, culminating with the tour final on Saturday night.
The third tour of the 2016 season was won by Stafford’s Adam Davis who produced a tremendous performance in the final to defeat Cambridge’s John Roe. Davis will no doubt want to add another tour title to his collection but will find it a difficult task as he has been drawn in the same section as Mick Hill, Jordan Church and Lee Kendal who will all be vying for the same coveted title.
Church versus Kendal is just one of the big first round draws, which also include 2015 tour champion Steve Petty versus England player Gavin Lomax, Rob Wharne versus Dylan Leary and Steve Martin versus Phil Harrison, a repeat of this year’s tour 2 final. So far this year we’ve had a different winner at each tour and with such big draws from the outset it seems like another new winner could be on the cards, highlighting the strength in depth of the UK Pool Tour.
Make your way to the Hilton Metropole to watch the action live, starting at 1pm on Friday 2nd September.
