FESTIVAL OF POOL

HILTON BIRMINGHAM METROPOLE HOTEL

The second tour of the season is to be hosted at the plush Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel. This is the first time this hotel has been used for a UK pool tour and it looks set to be a fantastic event with the Festival of Pool taking place over the Easter weekend and offering a variety of competitions.

For those new to the tour, the festival of pool incorporates the following events:

UK Tour – The main knock-out format event of the weekend. Open only to official tour players.

UK Challenge – A knock-out format event that is open to official tour players and amateur players who have entered for the festival of pool weekend.

Team Challenge – A randomly drawn three man team incorporating all tour players who wish to enter the event as well as the amateur players who have entered the festival of pool. This straight knock-out event has a winner’s prize of £1800 and is paid to the last 16.

Premier League – The UK tour’s pinnacle event continues with 16 of last year’s greatest players battling it out for a slice of the £15,000 pot, including a £3000 winner’s cheque and title of Premier League champion.

World Championship Qualifier - A chance for all players, subject to an entry fee, to compete for a place in this year’s World Championships, to be held at the Imperial Hotel, Blackpool. The qualifying players will also receive 3 nights’ accommodation.
