Lancashire’s interest at the 2026 IEPF World Eightball Championships is focused on Jack Crank, who is representing England B Under-23s in Marrakech.

The championships began at the Hôtel Aqua Mirage on Thursday 17 September and continue until Sunday 27 September, featuring team and individual competitions across numerous age categories.

  • England B 8–1 Scotland B
  • England B 5–4 France B

Jack reaches the last 32

Jack produced an excellent performance in the opening round of the Under-23 Singles, recording a convincing 6–0 victory over Lochlann Turner in the last 64.

That result puts the Lancashire player into the last 32, which is presently scheduled to continue on Wednesday 23 September.

Jack has also competed in two other events:

  • Under-23 Scotch Doubles: eliminated in the last 16 following a 5–1 defeat against Dylan Gimeau and Leonardo Moreira.
  • Under-23 Masters: narrowly eliminated in the last 64 after a 5–4 defeat against Saad Fethi on Sunday.

The Masters result was particularly close, with Jack missing out by only a single frame.

Wider England performances

England’s teams have been involved throughout the opening championship programme. In the Under-23 competition, England A were narrowly beaten 5–4 by England B in the opening round of group fixtures.

The England Men also progressed through the World Team Shootout before facing Wales. Despite leading 6–2, England were eventually defeated 11–7, ending their defence of the Shootout title.

Further main team, singles, doubles and masters competitions will continue throughout the coming week.
