Lancashire Ladies Final Interleague Table + Merits

December 10, 2013 in Interleague, Ladies Interleague by Johnny Dean

It’s been a very good season, 7 teams entered the 2013 ladies, I would like to thank all the captains for making it a doddle by playing all matches without any major hiccups, all paperwork every month was received on time, Great stuff.

From the outset Lancashire Hotpots were favourites to win the 2013 interleague although the Padiham Kiwis were only a few frames behind in the end, this ending up being the case. Congratulations to the Lancashire Hotpots on winning the 2013 Ladies Interleague.

Moving on the merits, thoroughly deserved winner, winning 12/12 in the 1st half of the season stood her in good stead, closest was Tracey Graham from Padiham Kiwis, who fell further back by missing an interleague game due to the grand prix event. In the end she played 24 won 21 with a massive 87.50%, Congratulations go to Louise Casson from Lancashire Hotpots who is the Lancashire 2013 Ladies Interleague Linda Gulley memorial merit winner.

It’s been a good season all round, we started off with 12 teams over two leagues, and we finished off with 12 teams.

1st Division was a cat & mouse chase for the title between Wigan ‘A’ & B&DPL, Wigan ‘A’/B&DPL were unbeaten going into the last game where they faced each other but B&DPL required a massive 13-5 win to become 1st division champions the match finished 9-9, so in the end Wigan are the 2013 1st division winners & B&DPL runners up, Congratulations. Lancashire County Pool teams up with Unified World to help with business energy costs

December 5, 2013 in Committee by LCPA Webmaster

Lancashire County Pool Association has team up with Blackburn-based Unified World to bring its member leagues, and more importantly associated businesses, to help take the stress out of getting the best energy prices for your business. All of this at absolutely no cost to you.

Energy is one of the single largest costs facing businesses today. From small traders to multi-nationals, business gas and electricity prices can have a significant impact on cashflow. Add this to the rising cost of raw materials and other business expenses and it becomes obvious why so many businesses are struggling.

Want to join the Lancashire Ladies Interleague

November 24, 2013 in Interleague, Ladies Interleague by Alison Parkes

Lancashire has the only Ladies Interleague setup in the Country. We currently have seven teams all of which are guaranteed a place at the Interleague finals held in Great Yarmouth each November.

As with the Men’s Interleague we play on Sunday’s throughout the year however our matches consist of 14 frames and therefore we need a minimum of 7 players.

We are looking to increase our numbers and would invite all our affiliated leagues to consider putting a team in. As with the men’s the cost is £30 deposit refundable at the completion of the annual fixtures and £15 per year.

Inter-league Registration FormsEPA Inter-league Forms and EPA Player Registration Forms can be found via the relevant links.
