Aaron Cooper selected for England Youth Euro’s Side

Lancashire Youth team player Aaron Cooper has continued his excellent year by being selected for the England youth team for the 2014 European Championships in Malta.

Lancashire County Pool wish to congratulate Aaron on his achievements and wish him all the best in the Euros.

GTS Open Pool Competition 2014 – another superb opportunity for the UK’s rising pool talent

pool-comp-2014GTS are proud to announce another superb opportunity for the UK’s rising pool talent – an Open Competition with a huge prize fund,.GTS have made it their mission to find the best talent in the UK and if possible nurture and develop this talent.

It doesn’t matter whether you are a golfer, snooker, tennis or pool player, a singer, magician or anybody with a talent, we strive to make Britain the best in every aspect.

The ‘Open Pool Competition 2014′ is our way of generating a huge interest and a huge competition to see the best players fight it out for some really terrific prizes:

  • £3,200 total prize fund
    • £1,200 Winner
    • £600 Second
    • £300 Losing Semi Finalists
    • £100 Losing Last Eight
    • £50 Losing Last Sixteen

The competition will be played on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd February 2014, The draw will be made the week before competition and is open to Everyone (Pro’s give 2 frame start to non-pro’s).

Lancashire A team got back to winning ways with what looked like a comfortable victory over GMC turning into a 24-20 close result.

Meanwhile, the Lancashire B Team continues their winning ways with 30-14 victory over GMC B.

Lancashire 49ers take close win over GMC

Lancashire Seniors, or the 49ers as they have affectionately been named, secured a narrow 15-13 win of top placed GMC.

After the first round of matches, things were not looking too good at 1-6 down, but steady progress during the match came through and winning the last round of matches 6-1 meant are hard fought match was won.

Lancashire Youth Top of Region 2

Juniors2013

2 more victories for Lancashire Youth secured an undefeated position at the top of Region 2 Youth table, with a 26-18 Victory against home team West Yorkshire, joining an earlier 27-17 victory over Merseyside.

In addition, despite his first frame defeat against West Yorkshire’s Danny Magee, Sam Leeming hit top spot in the National youth rankings. Sam has now won 15 of his 16 frames this season.

Sam continued his good form by finishing Runner up in the National U16’s Grand Prix, with Murad Iqbal also getting to the semi-finals. Well Played lads.

Lancashire Youth’s next match is Merseyside again but this time on Merseyside tables on 20th October.

Steve misses out in Final as Lancashire 49ers attend National Senior Singles Championship

Rising at the crack of dawn, 6.30am to be precise, picked up Stevie Crane 7.30 and down to the Phoenix Centre at Nottingham for 10.00, match sticks propping up eyelids.com.
