Mens A - The A team won all their group games; never really looking in danger of losing with Captain Lee Kendall and Karl Sutton leading the way with 9/12 wins and Mike King, Jack Pople and Rob Wharne all finishing on 8/12 win. The final however was a different affair with Ireland playing faultless pool to win 8-3. Mens B The B Team again breezed through the group section winning 4 out of 4 with Gavin Lomax and Shane Thompson winning 10/12 closely followed by Aaron Davies who won 9/12 Mike Giles on 8/12 and Chris Mcdermott on 5/12. This time however the final v Northern Ireland C was a pretty comfortable affair with the B team winning 8-5. Mens Singles The highlight of the singles was young Aaron Davies getting to the semi final after beating Jack Pople in the quarters only to narrowly lose out to Irish Captain Dave Mcquillan in a very high quality game.
