Mens Interleague enters last round

Going into the last round of games on 30th November Blackburn B&DPL lead the 1st division by 17pts on 113pts with Bury currently in 2nd place 96pts,
Blackburn B&DPL only require 4 frames mathimatically to be crowned Interleague Champions for 2014. At the foot of the 1st Division table are Clitheroe who look to be certain to be relegated into the 2nd division for 2015, which leaves the battle of relegation / Yarmouth playoff, 4th placed Atherton & Westhoughton ‘A’ (81pts) away to league Leaders Blackburn B&DPL & 5th placed Lancaster(79pts) away to Bury

Moving onto the 2nd Division Wigan ‘B’ lead by 11pts @ look comfortable in winning the 2nd division & gaining the yarmouth playoff, place for 2nd is wide open with 2pts separating 2nd-4th Darwen have an home fixture v league leaders Wigan ‘B’ & Chorley entertain Adlington, Blackrod & Horwich. Blackburn are a little off the pace in 5th 8pts behind 4th & Atherton & Westhoughton ‘B’ 6th with 71pts

As for the merits in the 1st division it finishes a two horse race as Blackburn B&DPL’s Geoff Hadgett leads with 16/18 wins & team mate Kevin Close 2nd with 15/18 wins

In the 2nd Division Chorley’s Kevin Snape looks hot favourite to secure crown with 14/18 wins, although anyone from 2nd to 6th could tie if Kevin has a bad bay @ the office.
